Powerblock Adjustable Dumbbells Reviews
Are you looking for a powerblock adjustable dumbbell set? Do you know about any powerblock dumbbell set? You may want to check out the Powerblock classic 50lb adjustable dumbbell set. Different adjustable dumbbell reviews have shown the many advantages this set offers. However, by reading my review about this set, you will find out why so many professional lifters actually prefer them to other types of dumbbell sets.
First of all, I recently purchased my Powerblock Classic 50lb Adjustable dumbbells on an online marketplace. This set actually cost a total of $295 dollars including shipping and handling and I got it in good condition after several weeks. I must state that this
Powerblock adjustable set of dumbbell can actually replace in some cases up to nine different pairs of dumbbells which equals to about 540lb of fixed weights. Weights can be adjusted in increment of 5 pounds and adjustment starts at 10 pounds reaching 50 pounds per each dumbbell. This means that they both add up to a total of 100 pounds and are color coded for convenience sake.
Before deciding in favor of the Powerblock type of dumbbells, I have looked at other adjustable dumbbells. I have during this period checked Bowflex SelecTech Dumbbells and I found out that they are more expensive by $100 than the Powerblock version. Also, they were looking to cheap for their price when compared to the Powerblock version which looked very pleasing and presentable.
I also found out that the handle of the Powerblock dumbbells were much more comfortable when compared dumbbell set bowflex types as I tried lifting them in the store where they were sampled. Although my hands are relatively smaller, if you have big hands, it is possible that you might find them a little snug. However, it is not a problem. It is just about keeping your fingers together when gripping the handles.
It is important to note that the Powerblock adjustable type of dumbbells does not in any way look like the circular dumbbells you easily find in fitness and gym centers. This Powerblock version actually looks like squarish blocks because of their adjustable nature. If you have to compare it with the Bowflex type dumbbells, the Powerblock version shorten and are compact when using lighter weights. However, the bowflex version when adjusted to lighter weights does not even get shorter. This makes it look too bulky when compared to the Powerblock dumbbells.
Also, when compared with other adjustable dumbbells that use screws to lock, the Powerblock adjustable dumbbells are known to adjust much more quickly. This is a very good feature because with the possibility of the quick adjustment, I can maintain my momentum and easily transit from one type of exercise to another without issues. They are also good in saving space because of their size.
Although, this is my personal review about the Powerblock adjustable dumbbells, different adjustable dumbbell reviews have also pointed out to this fact.
